around the world in Yoga and Qigong. She also continued her education
at The American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and
The Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences.

What is the best reaction we ever have recieved from a client?
When a client called extremely happy to tell me that she had become pregnant.
She had written this for a review before getting pregnant.- "Dr. Amba Ann Dryg, DMQ is quite possibly one of the most intuitive and knowledgeable health practitioners I've ever met in my life. I worked with her for a number of months in 2011 and the psychological, physical and mental healing that she facilitated has transformed me. She is not only an attentive and caring listener, she specifically tailored the treatment she gave to my personal needs, life circumstances and personal history. She cleared blocked energy that I had stuck in my abdomen and womb area, healing me of relationship addiction and delusion, and helping me let go of past traumatic experiences. I felt enlightened and on top of the world each time I walked out of Amba's office, and she gave me practical exercises and tools to work with in between medical sessions. Qigong requires work from both the doctor and the patient, and Amba educated me and treated me with
compassion each time I met with her. I truly thank Ambafor helping me heal and to move forward with my life without anxiety, with a deeperknowledge of myself and an authority over my own decisions."

What is Medical Qigong Therapy?
Medical Qigong Therapy is the oldest modality of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Involving three the levels of physical, emotional and spiritual bodies of a person. The goal is to restore wellness or natural balance as quickly as possible where  dis-ease or disharmony has created illness. In person in one of the clinics or long distance over the phone. Depending on the western diagnosis in combination with the traditional Chinese medical theoretical diagnosis of energetic embalances- the protocols will change as needed.

* These medical Qigong therapy sessions along with prescriptions homework meditations or exercises combine the use of breath work with individual physical movements and mental intention. The goal of MQ is to correct the electromagnetic imbalances enabling the body to strengthen and regulate the internal organs, the nervous system, and the immune system, relieve pain, regulate hormones, strengthen and purge deep-seated emotions and stress. MQ offers clients a safe and effective way to help rid themselves of many years of electromagnetic disruptions in this body caused by injuries, surgery, chemical and environmental influences, emotional changes and aging.

In China and more recently in the United States, doctors have applied Medical QiGong Therapy in hospitals and clinics to treat individuals suffering from a variety of ailments. Medical QiGong Therapy and prescriptions help in recovery from cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson disease and post-stroke syndrome. (As soon as possible after a stroke) It is especially useful in treating any kind of chronic pain, and chronic disorders of the digestive, respiratory, cardiovascular and nervous systems. It is also helpful at any stage of cancer and after a stroke.

Medical Qigong Therapy is useful for helping patients before, during and after surgery. Qi emission helps reduce the patient's bleeding, enhance the immune system, minimize the risk of infection, strengthen the body, and accelerate the recovery rate. Medical qigong modalities are involved in the following aspects of operative therapy: preoperative therapy, surgery, postoperative therapy, follow-up therapies and remedial prescriptions in the form of seated or moving meditations or exercises with focused visualizations.  Most clients prefer long distance sessions and can be anywhere in the world for the conversation and the Medical Qigong Qi Emission.  (see External Qigong below)
Medical Qigong Therapy can be divided into two methods of application:

Internal Qigong or Self Guided and External Qigong or Qi emission with Doctor of Medical Qigong

•Internal Qigong or Self Guided: Internal Qigong is a major part of Medical QiGong Therapy. This form of Qigong is practiced by oneself to achieve a specific purpose. A form of psycho-physiological self-regulation, internal qigong regulates the qi of the body for the purposes of harmonizing our internal energy systems for health enhancement and disease prevention. Typically, these are simple breathing and movement exercises or seated meditations.

•External Qigong or Qi Emission: External QiGong refers to the process by which a Medical QiGong Doctor-  uses their training to direct or emit the Qi to others to purge and release toxic emotions from within the body's tissues, eliminate energetic stagnations, as well as tonify, and regulate the internal organs, immune system, and energetic fields. The Doctor may touch areas on the other person's body (if the client is comfortable with healing touch) or simply pass his or her hands over the body.

When a person is ill and their own level of Qi is very low or stagnant, receiving the Qi within a session of Medical QiGong Therapy can prove to be a powerful stimulant toward recovery.
Generally, however, clients also simultaneously do their own internal practice.

Yoga Classes

With the balance of both of Yang style Flow and Yin style Hatha aspects of yoga to each class, you will be guided through fluid movement with the breath as well as holding postures and bringing awareness to the alignment in them. Some Sun Salutations or continuous flowing sequences may be offered as a way to warm up, focus on strength, and relax the mind while moving into more slowed down, alignment  focused postures. The intention is to offer students a fusion of these 2 styles while giving the teacher options of what postures to bring more awareness to based upon the students' needs

Qigong Classes
"Qi" (pronounced chee), means air, breath of life, or vital energy that flows through all things in the universe "Gong" (pronounced gung, as in lung) means the skill of working with, or cultivating, or  the practice of self-discipline. Together, Qigong means the skill of cultivating vital energy,or the ability to work with the electromagnetic energy of the body. Qigong is a body-mind-spirit practice that improves one's mental and physical health by integrating postures, movement, breathing techniques,  focused intention, imagination and sensation. Practiced correctly, one finds the “sensation of energy” is highly tangible.

Both Yoga and Qigong practiced for general health and wellness have many benefits. Among a long list of benefits,  both Yoga and Qigong helps to boosts the immune system, improves circulation, digestion, and much more.
